Daikokuten is a god of wealth and one of the seven lucky gods in Japan.
People believe that he brings good fortune to guests.
He also carries a small mallet, which, when he shakes it,
is said to makes wishes come true.
Seven Lucky Gods
The names of the seven lucky gods are Daikokuten,
Bishamonten, Ebisuten, Jurojin, Fukurokuju, Benzaiten and Hoteison.
